Whether it involves working with peat free composts or seeds which are organically produced the theory remains the same and that is that the garden and everything in it should be seen as “whole” - a continuous cycle of life and death for the greater good, just as it is in nature.

The watchword in organic gardening is conservation. This covers everything in he garden from the soil and its nutrients, moisture and wildlife. The film will look closely at the way we can be less dependent on outside inputs by making our own compost and recycling nutrients, saving seed and conserving water by mulching.
